Jasmine Duenez-Garcia

Jasmine is a senior at Cherokee Bluff High School and is a 1st year WBL student. She has career aspirations in culinary arts. Currently, she is an awesome online shopper at Walmart. Her supervisor cannot say enough great things about her.

Alexa is a Senior at Chestatee High School and is dual enrolled at Lanier Technical College.  Alexa has completed many Career Tech classes while in high school to discover her passion and skill set. As a senior, she wanted to explore the Law Industry in hopes to see if that career was a good fit.

 

Alexa is currently interning at the Hall County Solicitor General’s Office where she is focusing on Victim Advocacy. Her mentor states, “Alexa made a great first impression, better than most of my college interns. She was dressed professional, prompt, self-motivated and polite. We are thrilled to have her work in our office and know she will be successful in whatever she does in her future.”

Brianna is the Work-Based Learning Student of the Month for August!  She is a Senior and is currently interning at Dr. Richard Collin’s Chiropractic office in Buford.  Brianna has been working the front office since summer and is doing a great job there.  Her internship is paid and she is gaining real world experience!!

Brianna continues to show leadership and motivation to learn. Brianna is also working to earn the

Elite Georgia Best Certificate through WBL!

ViriDiana Simental works with Rumba Latina as a loan officer and has been employed with the company since Spring of 20019.   She is a senior this year, graduating May of 2020! 

Her boss continuously gives her marks of EXCELLENCE across the board with soft skills and the daily tasks that must be completed to efficiently run a business.

Matthew has been working at Chattahoochee Grill since the summer of 2022.  He reports to work early each morning to prepare delicious breakfast sandwiches and assemble lunch bags for golf tournament participants. 

​

 

Matthew is entrusted with many responsibilities and demonstrates an impressive work ethic.  After high school, he plans to pursue a career in nutrition and work with professional athletes to help them reach fitness and performance goals. 

​

Carson is a senior here at North Hall High School. He works as a Salesman/Cashier at the North Hall Ace Hardware.

 

After speaking with Carson’s employers I have chosen him to be my student of the month because he goes above and beyond for others. He is very hardworking, respectful and willing to help anyone in need without being asked. His employers spoke so highly of him and I am so proud of the way he is representing North Hall and Work-Based Learning.

 Fritzie is new to West Hall High School and Georgia.  She started working at roll on in a few months ago and her team loves her!   Her supervisor says she is a model employee and she a great work ethic.
