Crosby interns at Lance Animal Hospital for an average of 15 hours each week. Some of Crosby’s tasks include filling prescriptions, taking temperatures, observing surgeries, setting up fecals and reading results via microscope. Crosby states, “I love the fact that I am on the road to my dream job. Knowing that I am not just sitting around in a high school class that doesn’t help me with my future career goals brings me a lot of relief. Getting to make connections and learn direct skills is so beneficial. I love getting to watch surgeries and ask the vets questions, as well as working with clients. I love being a part of this program, it is the highlight of my Senior year!”

Crosby’s mentors states “Crosby always completes her tasks with passion and she works well with others here at the clinic. She is eager to learn and we love having her here!”
